Farm Holiday Accommodation in rural Great Buckland, Nr Rochester, Kent.

The farm is situated in a nice quiet country lane on the North Downs in an area of outstanding natural beauty, standing in 12.5 acres of private

grounds, made up of fields and woodland, with views of the neighbouring 12th century Dode Church. It is a non-working farm, but there are horses in the

fields. Although rural, the farm is only 10 minutes drive from the A2, 25 minutes drive away from Bluewater Shopping Centre and 15 minutes drive to

the local train station for trains into London Victoria (fast train 35 minutes and slow train 55 minutes). Central London is only 34 miles away.

Accommodation Offered:

1. Self-catering Cottage:

A quaint little cottage, standing in the farm orchard. The accommodation comprises of a main living area with dining facilities, Freesat TV, radio/CD

player, comfortable seating which converts to a sofa bed, a small fitted kitchen with electric oven, single induction hob, microwave and fridge.

There is a separate shower room and toilet. In the main living area there are fairly steep wooden stairs leading to an attic sleeping area which has

two roof windows, giving great views to the church and surrounding countryside. This area does have restricted headroom (5ft 6in at apex.) This

is suitable to be used as a bedroom for agile adults or children, as there is a double bed (4ft 6in) and a single bed (3ft) in this area. Alternatively

the sofa bed in the main living area can be used for sleeping on.

Sleeps 2 adults (plus two children).

Price: £175-£225 per week.

Short break prices on application.

Price includes towels, bed linen and electricity.

One well-behaved dog welcome.

Non-smoking accommodation.

2. Self-contained Annex to Farm House for Bed and Breakfast:

Attached to the farm house is a lovely self-contained annex. The annex comprises of a large double bedroom, with ensuite shower and toilet, flat

screen TV, tea making facilities and own separate front entrance.

Price: £30 per night for the room / £175 per week for the room.

The price also includes a continental breakfast (cereal, tea/coffee, hot rolls, butter, jam and marmalade). This is brought to your room each morning.

Evening meals are not available, but there are various local pubs between 2 to 4 miles away, where meals can be purchased.

Non-smoking accommodation.

The accommodation listed above is suitable for holiday lets/short-term

breaks and is ideal for individuals, couples or small families who appreciate the countryside and enjoy walks, cycling and bird watching, or

for those who just simply want to take some time out from the hustle and bustle of city life for a while, but don’t want to spend hours travelling to

find tranquility.
